Inspiring Computer Scientists
I made this series of 29 posters featuring inspiring computer scientists and mathematicians, with an emphasis on the gender and race diversity of contributors to Computer Science. I hope these posters will inspire the next generation of Computer Scientists, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
At De Montfort University, we printed these posters on A0 glossy paper and decorated corridors, student labs, classrooms, and shared spaces. If you like the posters, please feel free to use them at your school.
I released them under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license (CC-BY-SA 4.0 -- although three are under CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0, please check before you use them commercially). Download links for the high resolution files are at the bottom of this page.
I would love to hear your opinion about the posters -- please drop me a line at isabel.wagner__AT__unibas.ch.
